WINEMAKER NOTES

Our 2013 Pinot Noir is made with fruit from a tiny (approx. one acre) family-owned vineyard named Frattey Shams, in the middle of Anderson Valley in Mendocino County. The Mendocino Valley cool-climate has an extended growing season resulting in wines with deep, complex flavors. The Pinot Noir was fermented and aged 12 months in French Oak barrels.

TASTING NOTES

The 2013 vintage brings together beautiful Pinot character, hints of cherry, seedy raspberry, violets and earthy, herbal notes. Balanced and fresh - this wine is food friendly, with an earthiness that pairs well with mushrooms, sausage, salmon and duck.
