Wine Makers Notes

Our 2014 is a 100% Pinot Noir, made with fruit from a tiny (approx. one acre) family-owned vineyard named Frattey Shams, in the middle of Anderson Valley in Mendocino County. The Mendocino Valley cool-climate has an extended growing season resulting in wines with deep, complex flavors. The Pinot Noir was fermented and aged 12 months in French Oak barrels, delivering light smokey vanilla undertones and a long, lingering finish.

Elegant and complex, caresses the tongue with silky texture and smooth tannins.  Black cherry fruit and berries, a hint of spice, and subtle forest floor tones mingle from the nose through the lingering finish.
